Introduction
The Art Mountain, located in the heart of Brussels, was once a crowded neighborhood. In the late 19th century, Leopold II wanted to transform it into an art district, but due to lack of funds, the area became a wasteland after demolition. From 1956 to 1958, neoclassical buildings such as the Belgian Royal Library and the Palace of the Nation were constructed. Today, the Art Mountain has become a charming viewpoint, offering a panoramic view of the famous Brussels City Hall tower.
