Introduction

This park, with its French garden style, is the largest in the city center. When the weather is good, you will often see young people exercising under the shade of trees. The Belgian Royal Palace and Parliament are located on either side of the park. As Belgium is a parliamentary country, the king has no actual power. It is said that when the country was founded, the Belgian people desired to have a king, so they chose a kingdom nearby in Bavaria and found a king, but the king is completely controlled by the parliament and has no real authority. In fact, the Belgian royal family still has a relative relationship with the current British royal family.
