Introduction

Hafelekarspitze is a ski resort popular with ski enthusiasts, located at an altitude of over 2300 meters. Even if you don't ski, it's wonderful to climb to the top and enjoy the panoramic view of Innsbruck and feel the sensation of being in the clouds. In addition, the design of the Hungerburg cable car station is unique, blending seamlessly with the snow-covered environment, creating a distinctive charm. From the local Congress station, you can choose from three stops (with a discounted combined ticket). First, take a small train to the Hungerburg station (altitude 800 meters), where you can also visit the Alpenzoo. On the Hungerburg platform, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city and the snow-capped mountains across. Continue taking the cable car to Seegruben at an altitude of 1900 meters, where you are already above the clouds and the snow-capped mountain peak feels within reach. If you don't ski, it is recommended to take a stroll at Seebruge. The final stop of the cable car is Hafelekarspitze, which reaches an altitude of over 2300 meters.
