Introduction
The Salzburg Cathedral, built in 1707, is one of the largest churches in the city. It is a magnificent example of Baroque architecture and has gained international acclaim. The interior of the church is designed in a simple and elegant manner, with all-white decoration and no paintings. Due to its outstanding design, this church later became a model for many churches in southern Germany.
