Introduction

Mirabell Palace is a white building, once known as "Palace of Archbishop Wolf Dietrich", was built by Archbishop Wolf Dietrich for his mistress. In the closed and conservative feudal society, as a bishop, his decision to build this palace for his love was either a courageous act of love or an audacious behavior. After Wolf Dietrich stepped down, to avoid the revelation of this scandalous affair, the building was renamed Mirabell Palace. Mirabell Palace is also one of the filming locations for the movie "The Sound of Music".

Opening hours
Marble Hall: Open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:00 to 16:00, and on Tuesdays and Fridays from 13:00 to 16:00, but closed for special events. Other rooms are temporarily closed to the public.
