Introduction
Augustinian Church is a Catholic church located in Joseph Square, built in 1327. In 1634, the church became the royal court church and has been frequently visited by members of the Habsburg royal family for prayer, including the wedding of Archduchess Marie Louise and French Emperor Napoleon I in 1810, and the wedding of Austrian Emperor Franz Joseph I and Bavarian Princess Elisabeth in 1854. Although the exterior is not particularly striking, the interior of the church is very luxurious.
