Introduction

The Hundertwasserhaus is a unique example of architecture in Vienna, designed by Austrian Jewish artist and architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser in collaboration with the Vienna city government in 1986. Known for its fairy tale-like artistic viewpoint, unconventional asymmetrical design, and vibrant colors, it is a residential building that is not open for public tours. The Vienna Art Museum nearby features a shop and café on the ground floor, showcasing replicas of the building's architectural style. The second and third floors house exhibitions displaying Hundertwasser's works from various periods.
