Introduction

Danube Island, located on the Danube River in the city center of Vienna, is a large artificial island surrounded by charming cafes, restaurants, and bars, making it a great place for tourists to relax. Every June, the island hosts a large open-air music festival with nearly 30 free concerts and performances, attracting over 2 million people, making it one of the liveliest events in Vienna during the summer.
