Introduction

The old Taitung Train Station and its surroundings have a history of 80 years, and it has been transformed into a Railway Art Village. It retains the characteristics of the original railway station, with old train carriages, art venues, exhibition spaces, tourist service centers, and rest areas. It is very suitable for cycling or walking tours. Adjacent to the Railway Art Village is the Tiehua Music Village, which used to be Japanese-style dormitories and warehouses but has been transformed by artists into a cultural space for music, creativity, and markets. During the day, there are art exhibitions and sales, and at night, various live music performances. It has become a cultural symbol of Taitung City, fully expressing the essence of Taiwan's fresh and artistic culture. It is a must-visit destination, especially for those who enjoy walking or lying on the railway tracks.
