Introduction
Xuanguang Temple, located about 2.5 kilometers near Sun Moon Lake, was built in the 44th year of the Republic of China. It was originally used as a temporary storage place for the relics of Master Xuanzang. In 54th year of the Republic of China, after Xuanzang Temple was completed, the relics were moved to Xuanzang Temple. The buildings of Xuanguang Temple were built in the 1950s and have undergone several renovations. Today, it has become a solemn and peaceful temple.
