Introduction

The Museum of Taiwanese History is located in the Anping District and Shunliao Farm in southern Taiwan. It includes two buildings, the Administration and Collection Building and the Exhibition and Education Building. The museum showcases various aspects of Taiwanese history, including the interaction between diverse ethnic groups and the natural environment, Taiwan's foreign relations, different ethnic groups, and modern development. The Administration and Collection Building was completed in 2007 and opened on October 29, 2011, as part of the centennial celebrations of the Republic of China. The museum mainly collects artifacts from the Central Plains.
