Introduction
"Jingming Street" is an art shop street located between Dadun 19th Street and Dalong Road in Taichung City. It is about 100 meters long and features beautiful walkways, elegant signs, and bright shop windows. There are boutique clothing stores, tea and coffee shops, exotic restaurants, and galleries. On weekends, outdoor concerts and cultural exhibitions are held. The street was selected as a demonstration shopping street in Taiwan in 1995 and has gained popularity, becoming a new leisure spot for Taichung residents. Through joint efforts, the street has successfully banned motorcycles from entering, set up benches and outdoor cafes, restricted mobile vendors, and planned activities and landscape designs, making it a street that combines shopping, leisure, and artistic ambiance. The street's art and cultural activities are flourishing, and various exhibitions and performances are regularly held, making the street more vibrant and creating a sensory space beyond consumer culture. Here, people can sit in outdoor cafes, savor rich coffee, watch the hustle and bustle of people, and enjoy a different lifestyle, reminiscent of strolling along the Champs-Elysées in Paris.
