172 Jianguo Road, Taichung City

Introduction
The Taichung train station is a historical landmark with a nostalgic appearance, featuring a blend of Japanese and Renaissance-style red brick architecture. It is also listed as a secondary historical site. The interior of the station is somewhat tall. Although the train station's exterior exudes a sense of history, the area in front of the station was once known as one of the most chaotic areas in Taiwan. Therefore, it is best not to visit the train station on weekends, just pass by for a look.
On the other side of the railway, Warehouse No. 20, built in the 1930s, was converted into an art warehouse in the late 1990s, marking one of Taiwan's earliest projects for the preservation and reuse of old warehouses.
The First Square in front of Taichung train station is also one of Taiwan's "Southeast Asian enclaves". On weekends, many Southeast Asian migrant workers gather here. Around the square, there are signs with Southeast Asian languages, supermarkets selling Southeast Asian products, and various affordable Southeast Asian snacks and cuisines. It is full of exotic charm and is very interesting, but it is not recommended to visit in the evening. Address 172 Jianguo Road, Taichung City
