"Red Chaikeng is a small fishing port."

Introduction

Red Chai Keng is a fishing port and also a great place to watch the sunset. It is one of the two yacht harbors in the Kenting area, named after the famous tree, the Red Chai, that used to grow here. However, for those who love sea exploration, it is the underwater area near Red Chai Keng fishing port that is more appealing. It is one of the areas with the widest and most concentrated distribution of coral reefs along the Kenting coastline, attracting many experienced diving enthusiasts to explore. Compared to Houbihu and Nanwan, Red Chai Keng and Wanli Tong have richer underwater landscapes and a greater variety of corals, making it an ideal destination for snorkeling and diving enthusiasts, but it also requires a higher level of skills. The conditions for forming a good harbor along the coral reef coast are very harsh, so on the west coast, there are only two small fishing ports, Red Chai Keng and Shanhai. These two ports face west and are protected by coastal hills, which can block strong winds from the northeast. When there is a strong downslope wind blowing on Kenting Street, Red Chai Keng fishing port remains calm and peaceful, creating a stark contrast.
