Introduction
Located in the southernmost part of Taiwan's mainland, Hengchun Peninsula, Kenting National Park is a famous tourist destination and the southernmost geographical landmark of Taiwan. It is adjacent to the Eluanbi Park. Drive along the road to Longkeng Ecological Protection Area and the southernmost point to reach the southernmost parking lot. From here, it takes about ten minutes to walk along the paved stone path to reach the southernmost landmark built on the reef. The southernmost point is located between Eluanbi Park and Longkeng Protection Area. There is a wooden observation platform and a landmark symbol. Visitors can stand here, overlook the south, and observe the unique coastal plant community. Unlike what many people believe, the southernmost point, not the Eluanbi Lighthouse, is the true southernmost point of Taiwan, and the sea view here becomes even more spectacular when the waves are rough.
