Introduction

Qijin Coast Park is located in Kaohsiung City. It was built by the government in 1982 and is a tourist recreation facility covering an area of approximately 45 hectares. The park features a beach area, a natural ecological area, an off-road area, and a scenic coastal walking trail. The walking trail is approximately one kilometer long, with bicycle paths and Qijin Beach on both sides. The park is divided into high-density and low-density areas, with buildings in white and blue colors, blending the scenery with the blue sky and deep sea. Visitors can rent bicycles to enjoy the beautiful sea views along the trail. In addition, the park has an observation platform supported by 15 pillars extending into the sea, allowing visitors to experience the force of the waves. On the second floor of the visitor center, there is the famous Qijin Shell Museum, covering an area of about 60 ping, with a collection of over 2000 species of shells and 200 species of crabs, making it the largest in the country.
