Introduction

Hac Sa Beach is the largest natural beach in the Macau region, with a length of approximately 1350 meters. It is named after its unique black sand, and it used to be a popular spot for water activities and stargazing. However, due to its remote location and limited transportation, there are few tourists who specifically visit the beach for water activities. Stargazing is also not exclusive to Macau, as it can be done outdoors as well. However, if you happen to take a stroll on Hac Sa Beach at night, remember to look up and admire the starry sky, which is not visible in the city area of Macau. Unfortunately, in recent years, the beach has been gradually shrinking due to erosion, and yellow sand has been used to replenish the beach, covering most of the original black sand. If you only have 2-3 days for sightseeing in Macau, it is not recommended to visit Hac Sa Beach as it would require a significant amount of time to travel there, and you may not experience much in terms of a fast-paced sightseeing experience. In comparison, there are many other attractions in Macau that are worth visiting. If you are in Macau with a vacation mindset, you can choose to stay in a hotel near the beach, relax, and experience the slow-paced life of Macau. Hac Sa Beach is livelier in the summer, as students from various universities in Macau organize barbecues and games, camp on the beach, sleep in tents, and enjoy the sound of the waves.
