Introduction

St. Joseph Seminary and Church is an outstanding example of Baroque-style architecture, with its interior decoration displaying unique charm. The building was honored with the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Heritage Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation in 2001 and was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 2005, serving as an important part of Macau's Historic Centre. Locally, it is commonly referred to as "Sambajai".

You can choose to take bus 9, 16, 18, and 28B to Fong Son Tong Street. Due to one-way traffic restrictions, only bus 9 going in the upward direction stops, while buses 16, 18, and 28B only stop in the downward direction. From there, you can walk through Sam Ba Tsai Street to the temple.
