Introduction
The old Kaohsiung Railway Station has stopped operation but its external appearance has been preserved, and the interior has become an exhibition hall showcasing the history of Kaohsiung's railways. The new Kaohsiung Railway Station is located next to the old station. From Taipei, visitors can choose to take the Taiwan High Speed Rail, which can take as little as 90 minutes. Passengers can choose from Business Class reserved tickets, regular reserved tickets, or non-reserved tickets, with reserved tickets costing around NT$1,500 and non-reserved tickets costing around NT$1,400.
