Introduction

The layout and style of the Bamboo Forest Monastery are similar to the temples in China, making visitors feel as if they are in China. There is no incense altar, but there are many reliefs depicting Zen stories, inviting visitors to pay their respects sincerely. As the monastery is built on a hillside, there are plenty of flowers and a peaceful atmosphere. Visitors should note that they need to wear long-sleeved pants or skirts inside the monastery. It is located 7 kilometers south of Da Nang city and is usually one of the stops on a day trip. Visitors who plan to make their own way there should prepare for directions in advance.

From the center roundabout at the southern end of Chunxiang Lake, it takes about 25 minutes or even longer to ride a motorcycle, so it is recommended to join a one-day tour group. You can also take the cable car from the mountain top cable car station.
