Introduction

Chu Dai Beach, located about 4 kilometers east of Hoi An Ancient Town, is a less commercialized shallow beach. Its white sand and seawater attract many tourists for leisurely walks and sunbathing. Its name, Cua Dai, literally means "big mouth of the sea," as the beach extends northwards to the Son Tra Peninsula of Da Nang for a distance of 30 kilometers. The water quality is good from April to October, while during the rest of the year, the beach can be rough and the water can be turbid, so there is no need to specifically visit the beach during those times.
