The BaiSha dunes are relatively far away from the Meihai Beach, taking about 30-40 minutes even by off-road vehicle. Renting a motorcycle is not recommended as there are many intersections along the way and it can be difficult to control the motorcycle due to the sand on the roadside. Additionally, the best time to visit the BaiSha dunes is in the morning (if the weather is good), and it can be extremely dark when traveling there.
