Introduction
Ho Chi Minh City Museum, also known as the Revolution Museum, was built between 1885-1890 by a French architect, incorporating both Eastern and Western architectural styles. Originally intended to be a commercial museum showcasing Vietnamese specialty products, it was instead occupied by the French governor as the Governor's Palace. After 1975, the museum was renamed the Revolution Museum and in 1999, it became the Ho Chi Minh City Museum. Today, it still stands with its historical significance.
The museum displays a large collection of artifacts from the wartime period, similar to other war remnants museums. However, it has become a popular spot among Vietnamese young people who come here to take romantic wedding photos, using the beautiful architecture and vintage cars as backdrops.
