Introduction
Jaffa Old City is an ancient city with a history of thousands of years, located on the south of Tel Aviv, near the Mediterranean Sea. The Bible once wrote that the wood used to build the Jerusalem Temple was transported from here. Nowadays, the old city is mostly home to artists' residences, studios, and art shops. There is a square and a tourist center in the center of the old city, where you can get a free map of Jaffa. There is also a small museum underground. You don't have to worry about getting lost during your visit, as there are surprises in every corner, and maybe you'll even meet an orange tree hanging from a big stone somewhere. In addition, there are fountains named after the 12 constellations, alleys named after the 12 constellations, and a bridge of wishes named after the 12 constellations. However, the bridge of wishes has had to close due to lack of maintenance. Along the ancient port, there are many seafood restaurants and free art galleries. The ancient port is now home to a large number of private yachts, and many people gather here every day, waiting for fishermen to offer the freshest seafood. At the top of a small hill by the sea, there is a clock tower, which is also a typical Tel Aviv landmark. Transportation Take bus 10 at various locations within Tel Aviv and get off at Shuk Bishbishim station; Or take buses 11, 18, 25, 40, 42, 83, 88, 142, 240 at Salama station and walk west towards the seaside for 5 minutes; Alternatively, you can walk from the northernmost beach in Tel Aviv for about an hour and head south along the beach. You can choose the appropriate way of travel according to your location.
