Introduction

A typical Persian traditional mansion, this courtyard house features a rectangular courtyard surrounded by main buildings and walls, with a rectangular fountain in the center. Built in the late 19th century, it was the residence of the wealthy merchant Seyed Tabatabaei. The mansion includes a more private courtyard (Andaruni) for the owner's family, a courtyard (Biruni) for guests, and a courtyard for servants. The intricate decorative carvings and intricate patterns on the domes and walls are awe-inspiring for visitors.
