Introduction
Koh Mook, the third largest island in Trang, is known for its Morakot Cave, as well as its beautiful beaches and stunning natural resources. The west coast of the island features cliffs facing the ocean, while the east coast has plains and promontories reaching out into the sea, where the Laokao Pier is located. On the side of Hua Laem Beach and Sapanyao Pier, there is Phangka Bay, where swimmers can swim along the coastline and abundant seaweed provides ample food for dugongs.
The island is also home to ancient Muslim villages, and residents travel between the mainland and the island on long-tail boats, taking only 15 minutes to reach Kuan Tun Ku Pier (Tung Weng Koo Pier) from the island. The island's inhabitants mainly engage in fishing for squid and the cultivation of rubber trees and coconuts.
