Introduction

The small village of Drvengrad, located near the border of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a "utopia" created by Serbian director Emir Kusturica, aiming to provide people with a refuge away from the hustle and bustle and conflicts of the city. It was the filming location of the movie "Life is a Miracle" and has now become a resort with facilities such as a cinema, library, bar, restaurant, and hotel. All the buildings in the village, including houses, small churches, and streets, are made using traditional Serbian wooden architecture. These houses were collected by Kusturica from various places and transformed into unique resort buildings. Drvengrad is not far from Tara National Park and is surrounded by mountains, with lush greenery in summer and misty winds in winter. If you enjoy Kusturica's work or want to experience the traditional rural life of Serbia, it's worth staying here for a few days and experiencing the feeling of a paradise away from the world.
