Introduction

Wat Rajapraditsathitmahasimaram Rajavaravihara is a temple built in the mid-19th century, located next to the Saranrom Royal Park in Bangkok, close to the Grand Palace. This temple has few tourists but exudes a charming and tranquil atmosphere. The choice of materials for the temple showcases the King's taste of combining Eastern and Western elements, such as the gray marble roof of the main Buddha hall and the mural paintings depicting various Thai festivals inside. The temple is adorned with exquisite carvings on the doors, eaves, and walls. There are also elegant pavilions, Khmer-style prangs, gray marble stupas, and other structures within the temple. Additionally, the temple is undergoing renovation which may make it even more vibrant with colors. Despite having many buildings, the overall area of the temple is not large, giving a sense of coziness.
