Introduction
Bangkok Zoo is located 9 kilometers northeast of Nanshan Road. It consists of a wildlife park and an ocean park, covering an area of 1200 acres. The wildlife park is primarily focused on conservation and houses many rare and endangered species in habitats that mimic their natural environments. Visitors can choose to tour the park in a tour vehicle or a camouflage-colored off-road vehicle provided by the zoo, and witness the lives of these animals up close. In the herbivore area, antelopes, zebras, camels, ostriches, and giraffes roam freely in the greenery and grasslands, while water birds, swans, and mandarin ducks swim in the water. In the lion, leopard, tiger, and bear enclosures, visitors can observe these magnificent predators lounging in the shade or strolling around. In the ocean park, visitors can enjoy over 200 species of rare birds and marine animals, as well as various intelligent animal performances, including dolphins, sea lions, elephants, birds of prey, and whale feeding shows, as well as a variety of cultural performances from Thailand, Papua New Guinea, and the western United States.
