Introduction

Inabayama Castle, formerly known as Mino Mamushi Snake Saito Do-san's residence, is now renamed Gifu Castle. After being captured by Oda Nobunaga, the castle became his stronghold, launching his campaign for control over Japan. Today, the castle exhibits many historical artifacts related to the Saito and Oda clans, making it a must-visit destination for fans of the Warring States period.

Transportation
Take bus N80 from outside JR Gifu Station and get off at "Gifu Park/Historical Museum" stop. Walk about 3 minutes to enter Gifu Park and take the Jinhua Mountain Cable Car or hike up the mountain trail to the top. After arriving at Jinhua Mountain Top Station, walk for 8 minutes to reach the peak.
