Introduction

Takashi Palace is located in Dazaifu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. It is one of the head shrines of Tenman-gu across Japan, along with Kitano Tenman-gu in Kyoto. The shrine is dedicated to Sugawara no Michizane, a scholar from the Heian period, and also serves as his burial ground. Michizane is revered as the god of learning and calligraphy in Japan, and many students come here to pray for academic success.
