Introduction

Lake Akan is a dammed lake formed by the eruption of Mount Akan-dake, located within Akan National Park. The lake is surrounded by hot springs known for producing marimo and trout. The lake has a diamond shape and is surrounded by Mount Meakan and Mount Akan. The water is clear and the scenery is beautiful.
