Introduction

The lavender fields in Furano are located on the hillside opposite JR Naka-Furano Station, near the Furano Farm. Compared to the Furano Farm, there are slightly fewer visitors here, and the main attractions are the various types of lavender. From the hillside, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Furano city and the distant Taisetsu Mountain Range.

Transportation

Take the Lavender Bus (ラベンダー号) to Nakafurano Station and get off. After getting off, walk up the hill and turn left after finding Kobo-ji Temple. Then, find the small path continuing up the hill and walk up it. Alternatively, take a JR train from either Furano Station or Asahikawa Station to Nakafurano Station and walk for 20 minutes following the above directions.
