Introduction

"The 'Kuma Miko' series of products, which was popular in Hokkaido in early years, was born here. In the past, brown bears were considered gods by the local Ainu people and were one of the largest wild animals in Hokkaido. The Dobutsuen Dohoku Bear Ranch in Noboribetsu Town is a unique attraction located on Bear Mountain. Starting from the cable car departure station in Onsen Street, take the cable car to Dobutsuen Dohoku Bear Ranch. The park includes the first ranch, the second ranch, and the bear cub ranch. Visitors can buy bear food for feeding, similar to the Shiretoko Shari-dake Bear Ranch. In addition, visitors can enjoy over 500 bear-related collections in the museum inside the park. The top floor of the building where the bear ranch museum is located is an outdoor scenic observation deck, which offers fantastic views of the beautiful Lake Toya. The first floor of the building is a bear ranch restaurant that sells delicious food such as ramen and Genghis Khan barbecue. It also supports self-service Chinese ordering machines. It is definitely worth a visit."
