Hakodateyama Yakei, A natural arc of coastline cradles a city of lights

Take the Hakodate tram (streetcar) to the "Jujigai" stop, walk for 10 minutes to reach the Hakodate Mountain Ropeway "Sanroku Station" and transfer to the cable car to go up the mountain. It takes about 3 minutes to reach the top. From late April to mid-October, the Hakodate Mountain Direct Bus operates every evening between JR Hakodate Station and the top of Hakodate Mountain, taking 30 minutes and costing 360 yen one way. The all-day pass can be used on the bus, and the bus departs every 20 minutes, with fewer departures in the autumn.
