Introduction

The town hall of Leuven is one of the iconic buildings in Leuven, located on the Grand Place opposite the Church of St. Peter. The building was built in 1448 in a late Gothic style and took 21 years to complete, finishing in 1469. Despite suffering through two world wars, the building has been preserved to this day.
