Introduction

Ota Memorial Museum of Art is an art museum dedicated to collecting and exhibiting ukiyo-e, with a focus on commemorating the late Mr. Ota Seizo. The museum houses approximately 20,000 valuable ukiyo-e works, with exhibits changing monthly and using various exhibition plans to showcase the charm of ukiyo-e to visitors.

Opening hours

10:30-17:30 (last admission at 17:00). Closed on Mondays (if Monday is a national holiday, the museum will be closed the following day), during display replacement periods at the end of each month, and during the year-end and New Year holidays (December 20, 2010-January 3, 2011).
