Introduction
The Suga Shrine in Shinjuku, Tokyo is the location of the final scene of the reunion between the male and female protagonists in the movie "Your Name". The shrine was established in 1878 (Meiji 11), and the surrounding area, Yotsuya, was renamed "Yotsuya Suga-cho". In 1911 (Meiji 44), the "Yotsuya" prefix was removed and it became simply known as "Suga-cho". In 1943 (Showa 18), Minami-Juzocho was incorporated into Suga-cho, expanding the area. In 1947 (Showa 22), Yotsuya was abolished and Shinjuku was established, with Suga-cho becoming a part of Shinjuku's Suga-cho. Address Sugacho, Shinjuku, Tokyo 160-0018 Japan
