Introduction

Ta Nei temple is located 800 meters north of Ta Keo, but it requires a walk of about 2 kilometers through the jungle, making it difficult for vehicles to access. Although the temple is small in size, it is filled with spirituality. The exterior is covered in moss and roots, and it is currently used as a training institution by the Apsara Authority for the Preservation of Angkor and Siem Reap. It is said that one needs to cross a dam built by the French to reach the training institution, but the author did not see it. The temple was built in the late 12th century, between 1181 and 1219, and it was initially covered by jungle and giant trees, making it difficult for archaeologists to discover. The small path leading to the temple is only suitable for bicycles or walking, making it challenging for large vehicles to pass through.
