Introduction

The national museum was established in 1901 and was originally the Central Bank building of the Philippines. The museum has a rich collection, displaying various exhibits such as art, plants, animals, geology, anthropology, and more. Especially noteworthy is the preserved wreckage of a Spanish colonial-era ship from the 1600s. It is worth a visit.
