Introduction
The Khafre Pyramid is the second largest pyramid in Egypt, second only to the Great Pyramid of Khufu. It is the tomb of Pharaoh Khafre of the Fourth Dynasty, and part of the limestone casing still remains on the top of the pyramid. During the 18th Dynasty, the outer part of the Khafre Pyramid was damaged by Pharaoh Ramesses II for the construction of a temple. What sets the Khafre Pyramid apart is that it has two entrances leading to the pharaoh's tomb.
