Introduction

Changbai Mountain is located at the border between Yanbian Prefecture and Baishan City in the northern part of Jilin Province. It is the boundary mountain between China and North Korea, and is also one of China's famous tourist attractions, rated as a national 5A scenic spot and one of China's top ten famous mountains. The mountain is named after its main peak, which is covered in floating stones and snow, and is known as "the first peak in the world with millennium snow and annual pines". China's White Cloud Peak is the highest peak in Northeast China, with an altitude of 2691 meters, while the highest peak of Changbai Mountain, General's Peak, is located in North Korea. As the highest and largest dormant volcano in Northeast China, the Tianchi of Changbai Mountain is a must-visit attraction and a holy place for tourists to pray. In addition, Changbai Mountain also has a beautiful meaning, which is "to stay together until old age". Nowadays, tourists can climb to the main peak and admire the beauty of the Tianchi from the three scenic areas of the north slope, west slope, and south slope. Although there are more rocks on the north slope and the view is relatively small, the views from the west and south slopes are more expansive. It should be noted that the weather at the top of the mountain is very changeable, and the best viewing time is from July to September every year.
