After completing his studies, he returned south and enlightened the eastern and southeastern regions, earning him the title of "Southern Confucius". The tomb of Yanzi was first built during the Western Han Dynasty and has been renovated throughout the ages, and is now a magnificent site. The tomb gate faces North Gate Street, and the tomb path extends all the way up to the mountainside. There are three archways in front of the tomb, each with a plaque and couplets inscribed on them.
