Introduction

A small red brick building with red tiles called "The Red House" by the locals is the starting place of the Xinhai Revolution. This two-story brick and wood Western-style building completely imitates the parliament building of the modern capitalist countries in the West. The North Square was once the consulting bureau of Hubei Province in the late Qing Dynasty, and now it is a memorial hall for the Wuchang Uprising of the Xinhai Revolution. The South Square is a square newly built for the centenary of the Xinhai Revolution with a red triangular building standing on it, inside which is the Xinhai Revolution Museum.
