The Sun Yat-sen Memorial House was established in 1956. It is now a national first-class museum and a core scenic spot of national AAAA-level tourist attractions. It is also a national advanced collective for culture, a national advanced unit for spiritual civilization construction, and a national patriotic education demonstration base. The main building in the museum is Sun Yat-sen's former residence in Cuiheng Village, which is open to the public for exhibition, in order to help people understand Sun Yat-sen's living conditions. Outside the museum, the four golden characters "Tian Xia Wei Gong" ("The World Belongs to the People") are particularly eye-catching and a popular spot for tourists to take pictures. The exhibits in the museum display the scenes of Sun Yat-sen's return home, making it a great place to learn about his history in depth.
