Introduction
In June 1983, the tomb of the King of Nanyue was excavated, and a museum was built on the original site of the tomb. The museum mainly displays the tomb of the King of Nanyue and unearthed cultural relics. Among them, the "Silk Thread Jade Clothes" of the King of Nanyue is the earliest and most complete rare jade clothes excavated in China to date. The museum has a protection area for ancient tombs and a comprehensive exhibition building, with a total of 10 exhibition halls. The permanent exhibitions include cultural relic exhibitions and porcelain pillow exhibitions, as well as other periodic exhibitions. The cultural relic exhibition is the main content of the museum, displaying more than 10,000 unearthed cultural relics from the tomb of King Zhao Mo of Nanyue, including the Emperor Wen’s Golden Seal and the treasures of the main room.
