Introduction

During the Southern Dynasty, Xingfu Temple was built. During the Xiao Liang period, the shape of some rocks resembled the characters "xing" and "fu," so the temple was renamed Xingfu. In the Tang Dynasty, two black and white dragons fought at the edge of a brook, hence it was also called Poshan Temple. Xingfu Temple is a garden-style temple with beautiful scenery. Three maple trees in front of the gate guard the temple like vajras, and there is a large statue of Maitreya inside. There are thousands of petals of white lotus and white magnolia trees by the White Lotus Pond, and behind the pond are the Jiu Hu Ge and Mi Bei Ting. The famous poem "Po Shan Si" is written on the Mi Bei Ting: "In the early morning, people come to the ancient temple. The first sun shines on the tall trees. The winding path leads to a secluded place, where flowers and trees flourish in the meditation room. The mountain light delights the bird nature, and the pool shadow empties the human mind. All sounds here are gone, only the bell sound remains."
