Introduction

Shanghu Bay, also known as an important part of Taihu Scenic Area, is renowned both domestically and internationally and is listed as a national key scenic spot. It is located on the east of Shanghai, south of Suzhou, west of Wuxi, and north of the Yangtze River, with an excellent geographical location. There are seven natural landscapes in the area, such as Hexiangzhou, Diaoyuzhu, and Taohua Island, which are dotted with plant landscapes, and there are also islands in the lake. The main wetland in the area is dominated by swamps with Chinese fir as the main component, which is the main habitat for wintering birds.
