Introduction

Confucius Temple-Qinhuai Scenic Belt is a charming national AAAA-level tourist area that combines natural scenery, landscape gardens, temples, schools, street markets, and local customs. Visitors can explore the essence of the city by taking a walk along the ten-kilometer Qinhuai Scenic Belt, starting from the Confucius Temple architectural complex and following the Qinhuai River on the axis, passing through Dongshuiguan Park to Xishuiguan Park (now Shuiximen). Nanjing's Confucius Temple is located west of Gongyuan Street on the north bank of the Qinhuai River. As China's first national university and one of the four major Confucian temples in China, the Confucius Temple is an important hub of ancient Chinese culture and a gathering place for Nanjing's historical and humanistic treasures. During the Qing Dynasty, it was the cultural center of Nanjing and the crown of all educational buildings in Southeast China. Now, it has become an important part of the Confucius Temple-Qinhuai Scenic Belt. The Qinhuai River is the "mother river" of Nanjing and the birthplace of ancient Jinling culture. The Qinhuai River is five kilometers long and historically known as the "Ten Miles of Qinhuai". It is the essence of the Confucius Temple-Qinhuai Scenic Belt. Boating on the Qinhuai River and visiting China's first historic and cultural river has become a famous tourist brand in Nanjing. At night, "Night Mooring on the Qinhuai River" is one of the classic water tours in Nanjing, allowing visitors to experience the unique charm of Nanjing firsthand.
