Introduction

Bixi Ancient Town, built in the Ming Dynasty, is one of the important stations on the Tea-Horse Ancient Road. It is ancient, beautiful, prosperous, and retains complete form and architectural layout. It used to be the location of the ancient Mojiang County, and now it has become one of the 60 tourism towns in Yunnan Province. Bixi Ancient Town is located on the transportation route between Kunming and Yuxi Dianzhong Tourism Area and Xishuangbanna Dianan Tourism Area, with a network of roads including the Yuanmo Expressway and the Chujiang Provincial Road. In addition, it is approximately 9 kilometers away from the world's largest Tropic of Cancer landmark garden and is the hometown of singer Yu Chengqing.
